General membership

General membership:

While membership at NHCC can be seen as pretty exclusive, the process of joining is not so difficult. The Club has two application processes, the standard, and the alternative application process.

The standard process:

Your application needs to be supported by five current members of the Club who hold membership for more than five years.

The alternative process

You need to submit a current Police clearance. A recommendation letter from another club at which you have been a member (any club- not necessarily a sporting or golf club) and three signed professional or personal references. A membership induction is conducted for the candidates and for golfers they also need to participate in a playing etiquette and rules session.

Women's membership

Women's membership:

NHCC currently has two membership programs sketched to attract new women members (Beginner Program) and current women golfers (Three-month Trial Membership) to the Club.

The Beginner Program:

The membership for this program is for 12 months. It is for women who would like to learn to play golf.

It is open for women 18 years of age and above who do not yet have a handicap and includes:

1. Five group coaching lessons with the club professional once a week.

2. Thrice a week course.

3. Organized eight or ten hole play with a club professional.

Trial membership

The Three-month Trial membership

This is open to women aged 18 years or above who have a Golf Link handicap of 36 or less. The golfers who wish to play in women’s competitions and use the practice facilities. On Tuesdays and Thursdays, these members can play in women’s competitions. With approval from the Women's Caption women eligible to play in the Business Women’s category can play in the Saturday competition.
